The Seafarers Centre is a partnership between 3 major seafarers’ welfare organisations – the Mission to Seafarers, Stella Maris and Sailors’ Society. Maritime Welfare Ltd employs 3 welfare officers in Auckland under a grant from Maritime NZ. Each welfare officer is affiliated as a Chaplain to one of the partner bodies.
